| Creating A Glossy Content Box |
- Start by
creating a new canvas the size of 400 x 200.
- Then use the shape tool, make sure its on round rectangular and
with a radius of 5 and black as your primary.
- Now create a new layer and make a rectangle the size of mine.

(creating new layer)

- Now use white as your primary color and make a smaller rectangle
in the black box as shown in the picture.

- Now using the magic wand tool click in the white area you just
made and hit delete.

- Now right click on layer 1 which should be the box layer and go
to blending options.
- Add a color overlay of a nice color you want the box to be.
- Then add a inside stroke of 1px black.

- Now create a new layer. Then using the PolygonLasso Tool make a
selection like in the picture.

- Now make sure white is your foreground color and go to
edit>fill>foreground color.
- Now right click on the new layer and go to blending options.
- Add a color overlay with a color lighter as the box color.
- If you want you can click on the background layer and change the
color of the background to see the box better.
- Now create a new layer and add text inside the shape we created
- Now create a new layer and with using the elliptical marquee tool
make a selection as shown in the pic.

- Now using the gradient tool make a white gradient as I did in the
picture.
- Hold ctrl and click on the content box layer so it selects it.
Then go to select>inverse.
- Then click on the layer on the gradient and hit delete so it gets
rid of the extra on the sides.

- Create a new layer above all layers.
- Now use the elliptical marquee to select the bottom of the
content box.
- Add a gradient the same as you did on the top so it looks like
the picture below.

- Then hold ctrl and click on the layer of the content box so it
selects it.
- Then go to select>inverse. Click on the layer with the gradient
you just added and hit delete.
- Now your content box is done and should look something like the
picture below.
